The Picture
Okay So it is not the greatest picture of the family, none the less it is a picture. Two Junes ago our family was able to go to Seattle with my parents. While we were there we went to Tillacom Village were these Native Americans performed for us. We also ate one of the best salmon dinners I have ever had(that says alot because I don't eat sea food!!!) Let me tell you about the experience. First to get there we had to ride on a mini cruise(boat) the kids thought that was fun. Once we arrived to the island the Native Americans were there to greet us and direct us up this very white path. Once up this path we were served clam chowder.(not the way you would expect it) This was whole clams shells and all cooked in a clam broth. We were told when we were finished eating our soup our clam shells could be dropped on the paths and stepped on. The paths were made out of the white shells from the soup. Well every one in our group tried the soup. But Benjamin was the one who ate the most of it. He ate my bowl, Rachel's bowl, my moms bowl, and his own(he might have ate more than that I can't remember) After our soup was finished it was time for the all you could eat salmon, salad, vegi, and bread(the best bread I have ever had) dinner. I could not believe how much fish Ben ate. They cooked the fish around a fire in these frame type things that went around the outside edge of the fire. While we ate our dinner we were able to watch a performance put on by the Native Americans. On the way back while on the boat Ben kept on telling everyone he is going to serve his mission there(weather or not they were members) One man asked him why he wanted to serve his mission there( I think he was the only one who knew what a mission was besides my family) Benjamen's response was because they have good food. It was a great trip. If you ever go to Seattle it would be worth the time, money, and effort to visit Tellacom Village. Well that's all for our trip right now maybe one day I might post The TRIBE singing Live in Seattle. Oh ya I almost forgot DESSERT five inch long chocolate shaped in salmon. YUM A person cant go wrong with chocolate.

That sounds like fun. In the middle of it, I'm like, "Where did they go, to some like exotic island?" :)
That sounds like a blast- Yep and I am sure Jordan and I would have had to eat everyone else's soup too!
The photo rocks!!! and you look super happy! Did they let you try on their head-dresses?
