So I have not blogged for a while. And I have now gone private. I think just to catch up I will put everything into one blog. I do have to start by saying we are a blessed family. Yesterday while Tom was going to work their was a very bad accident on I-80. Tom was very close to having been hit. I am very grateful that the Holy Ghost was able to speak to Tom.I am also grateful Tom was listening and acted quickly on what he was told. I am sure his listening and acting saved his life. He has been in a state of awe sense it happened. We are very blessed. I love you Tom. On to the next item. On Sept. 9th Tom had a biopsy on his kidney. There were some not so fun side effects that resulted to this procedure. He is doing and feeling a lot better now however he is still very tired. Once again we were blessed it wasn't life threatening or worse than it was. We should be finding out the results within the next couple of days. I will give an update when we get the results(hopefully soon). Now for the fun stuff last Saturday we were asked to take one of Tom's friends from a very long time ago to a Special Olympics activity. There was a truck convoy from North Salt Lake to the Rocky Mountain Race Way. At the race way we had lunch and a short program. After all that we were able to watch the races. Our Friend Matt was able to ride in the pace car for the first race. He said that was COOL. Then during the intermission all of the special Olympians were able to participate in a truck pull. It was amazing to see these special people pull a semi truck with just two ropes. They had a blast doing it. The racing was so much fun to watch. I told Tom I could get used to watching car races. My favorite is the figure eight train races. This is were 3 cars are hooked together the first car has an engine, a steering wheel, a driver, and NO brakes. The middle car has nothing at all. The third car has brakes, a steering wheel, a driver, and No engine. It was wild and crazy, but a ton of fun to watch. Then Yea for me! I was able to finally get my new rear end(my Bumper ha ha) it is so shinny and pretty:) So there you now have a little bit of our crazy last few weeks.
